Worried about a child?

If you are concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a child, please tell us. You can speak to any member of staff, or contact the school office and ask to speak to a safeguarding lead.

Urgent concerns

Members of the public can also report child-protection concerns directly to Leeds Children’s Social Work Services on 0113 222 4403 during office hours. Leeds provides current reporting information on its child-protection concern page. 

Concerns about an adult

Concerns about the conduct of a member of staff, volunteer or other adult working with children at Newlaithes should be reported to the Headteacher.

Where the concern relates to the Headteacher, it should be reported to the Chair of Governors.
