Attendance and Reporting Absence
Regular attendance and punctuality are important in helping children feel settled, belong and make the most of their learning. Our school attendance target is 97.4%.
School opens at 8:45am and registers are taken at 8:55am. Children arriving after this time will be recorded as late.
Reporting an absence
If your child is unable to attend school, please contact the school office as soon as possible on the first day of absence:

Please give your child’s name, class and the reason for their absence.
Where possible, routine medical and dental appointments should be made outside the school day. Requests for leave during term time must be made in advance and can only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.
If attendance becomes difficult for any reason, please speak to us. We will work with families to understand barriers and provide appropriate support.
